SoCal OTMX Club Meeting Minutes

February 13, 2018

1. A group went to Canyon Raceway, the location of the Arizona International scheduled for March 10th and 11th, 2018 to practice. 

2. We needs score keepers. We are looking for volunteers. 

3. Website needs fixing. It was discussed how it is preferred that the website be more simplified for easier maintenance. 

4. Lost $2K at our last Cahuilla Creek race. There were no racer fees that day. We also lost $1K at our last race at LACR. 

5. The club gained $1,500 overall for the year 2017. 

6. The club checking account has roughly $21K. However, there are a lot of expenses leading up to the SoCal International. 

7. The actual track location of the race finish needs to be scrutinized in the future for safety. 

8. Currently there isn’t much news regarding International races this year yet. Rich Kastner will attend the Arizona International. 

9. There is some discussion regarding changing the name of the classes 70A and 70B to 70 Expert and 70 Intermediate, respectively.
